Here are Call Center Services for Infectious Waste Pick-up

The Jakarta Environment (LH) Agency has opened an infectious waste handling service for Covid-19 sufferers who are undergoing self-isolation at home.

LH Agency Head, Asep Kuswanto said the service was available, following the spike in Covid-19 cases.

"We provide it to pick up infectious waste from the homes of residents who are under self-isolation," he said, Friday (2/18).

He asked them to sort and pack their medical waste, as well as give a label on the waste bag to make it easier for the officers.

There were requirements for infectious waste pick-up, which included photos of PCR results or other evidence that stated positive for Covid-19, photocopies of ID cards for Covid-19 sufferers, addresses used for self-isolation, photos of waste that have been separated and marked or labeled.

"The data can be sent to the call center operator in the local domicile or sub-district area," he explained.
